Type 1 Flush Metal

The Type 1 Flush Metal is a versatile, high-performance fastener that is ideal for use with fire-retardant panels. Its dependability has been independently demonstrated through extensive strength, shock loading, and vibration tests.

Both connector parts are diecast in ZL2 zinc alloy and have a 316 stainless steel spring. Four Button-fix Type 1 Metal fasteners on a vertical panel will support loads weighing up to 350kg (770lbs) in general, provided the screws and substrate are properly matched and all other installation instructions are followed.

Typical uses include

• Fire-retardant panels
• Environments where fire smoke toxicity is a concern
• Maritime and other transport interiors
• Applications subject to vibration or shock loading
• Panels that are repeatedly remove
